What is that smooth.

Working in the morning, afternoon and night on a Sunday. Which means that my boyfriend only gets half a day rest for the whole of this week.

Anyhow, we went to the Comex yesterday. Main purpose was to get a wireless keyboard for babu. After making comparison with the keyboards from many different brands, babu decided to get the one from Ranger. It’s a bluetooth wireless keyboard. With the bluetooth feature, we can even connect the keyboard to our iPhones or any other devices that has bluetooth. Babu tried to persuade me to get a brand new mouse but nothing caught my eyes and so I went home empty handed. We went to Popular just now and bought one chio red mouse. I like it very much!

Now I’m back at home, gonna spend some time with my family.

Oh by the way, I will be starting work on the 12th. Which means that I have only one last week to rest. Gonna spend these 7 days wisely.

Employed, at last.

Yes, I’m employed. Will be working under NCS at a military camp together with my best friend. I guess the only thing I’m looking forward is getting paid and to be able to work with TJS. Monthly pay shall be the motivation!

Lazybones

I’m up this early on a non working day. It’s always not easy to sleep in late at my own home. People in my house needs to be a little more considerate by speaking at a softer tone as early as 6 in the morning. Or at least, shut the door like how babu’s mum would do when we are still sleeping. I should have gotten used of this but I just feel really unhappy about it. It’s really frustrating when you are trying very hard to sleep back in and voices, crying and whining(from my niece) just kept disrupting.

Putting that aside, I think I’ve ranted enough. Let me continue with some updates of my life being a sick cat for 2 days, meow~

It was a stay home public holiday for both babu and I on Hari Raya. We felt really restless and the feeling is so terrible that I’m not willing to get up for food. I just want to curl up like a ball on the bed, hoping to get better that way. But still got up in the end. Couldn’t recall much as I think we spent the whole day sleeping, eating, trying to sleep and sleeping. I never liked fever and will never like it. It is so torturing for goodness’s sake!

On a happier note, babu and I got well after being unwell for 2 days. He’s back to work today and hope that it will be a good start for him. It’s nothing new to him, same company, same people, same stuffs (Y)

Never underestimate the power of karma!

I’m sick. Fever, aching, very unwell. Am now hiding under babu’s blankie, feeling super duper cold.

Babu is the one who passed the virus to me! He came home feeling unwell and I was laughing and tweeting about how weak he’s. I even went further to tease him saying that he fell sick on purpose so that he don’t have to keep his promise and bring me for fishing tomorrow.

And now karma slapped me in the face. I get the cold and aching out of the sudden and poof, fever came to visit. Babu was laughing and me, apparently he’s really very happy!

Nevertheless, he’s still being very sweet by taking temperature of me, pasting the cooling pad on my forehead and getting me a glass of water and medication. He’d also passed me his blankie when he’s feeling cold like me. All of the above, despite of being unwell too! I love my babu so much!

I’m going to rest now, back for updates when I’m feeling better.

Promised mother to come home and take care of my niece and so, here I am. Forgotten my MBP, left it next door and I’m so lazy to walk over to get it.

I have so much to update but, I think I lost track of the happenings for the past few days.

But yesterday, I went for an interview in the morning. It turned out well, definitely better than the one on wednesday. I hope I can start work soon, and earn for our future.

Babu was supposed to come and pick me up, but customers held him back. But it was okay as I went home and got changed and also to leave my bag down. Babu agreed to go beancurd hunting with me at Old Airport Road, and so we went!

With the circle line, it was only approximately 30 minutes journey. Very fast, very good. Not forgetting the help of the navigating system on iPhone. It was my first time there, it’s like a food paradise there. Queues can be seen everywhere! I set my mind on having Hokkien Mee from one of the stall at the back and I was shocked to be told that I have to wait 40 minutes for my plate of Mee. It was really exaggerating. The stall owner showed me the number of people waiting on the list, indeed a long list.

I had Char Kway Teow instead and babu had Prawn Mee. Didn’t bring our camera out and so, prepare for poor quality snapshots.

And it’s beancurd right after, the reason we came! There’s 2 main stalls which are more popular than the others, namely 老伴 and 51. We tried the one from 51 and it’s the very same one which my manager bought. Wanted to takeaway from 老伴 for the folks to try at home but theirs is sold out! People there are crazy over their beancurd. You will be able to see people buying dozens and dozens of them. We hurried back to 51 and we were lucky to be able to get enough for all. Will be back for 老伴’s!

Punggol Nasi Lemak for dinner at night. It was babu who had Nasi Lemak, I had Bak Chor Mee. What’s for dessert? Our all time favorite fruit, the king of fruits. It’s the XO range, I quite like it.

Everyone is fast asleep except me! Too nervous for the interview tomorrow! Babu is snoring, better join him now! Nights!

Food, food and food!

It was a weekend filled with food.

Brought my niece out together with my aunt, cousin and little sister. Main purpose was to bring her to the eXplorerkid Indoor Children Playground at E! Hub. But before that, we went to the Streats Hong Kong Cafe for aunt’s and cousin’s brunch. The food there turned out better than I thought it would be. Most of the photos will be up in Facebook because I don’t really like to mass upload photos with wordpress, it’s pretty troublesome.
